HER-ITAGE Exhibition Space | Fragments of an Embroidered Language

Within the exhibition space, each specimen appears like a fragment, revealing the depth and nuance of embroidery as a language.

“Clouds” evokes the soft, drifting contours of the sky, formed through fabric-cutting techniques combined with couching and long-and-short stitch embroidery — each thread suggesting nature’s quiet rhythm of movement.

“Mother-of-Pearl Petals” shimmers through the harmonious interplay of embroidered thread and shell inlay, creating a prismatic reflective effect that transforms the surface into a vivid visual dialogue.

Meanwhile, “Phoenix Transformation,” inspired by the motif of transformation in Nguyễn dynasty decorative art, brings together multiple embroidery techniques with mother-of-pearl inlay and bead embellishment. The result is a layered composition, almost like a variation in motion, where the phoenix rises from the fabric — at once classical and contemporary.

The HER-ITAGE exhibition space will remain open until 29.09. Lecia warmly invites you to visit and discover the meticulous artistry of embroidery.
